The Conveyancing Foundation is a registered not for profit charity, which has been established by conveyancers to help conveyancers, and others in the property industry, to raise funds for their chosen charities via the Free Legal Fee Competition.

The concept of the Free Legal Fee Competition is simple – your client makes a £10 donation to charity at the end of their property transaction. The client is then entered into a monthly prize draw and the winner receives £500 to assist with their legal fees.

History

In 2010, Convey Law launched their Free Legal Fee Competition.lloyd-andrea-byrne-iod-awards-2015 Over the past five years, the firm has raised over £400,000 for a number of charities including Ty Hafan and Children with Cancer.

In 2015, Convey Law was recognised for its fundraising efforts with a Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility Award from the Institute of Directors.

Lloyd Davies, Managing Director of Convey Law, wanted to emulate the success of the Free Legal Fee Charity Competition by encouraging other conveyancing firms to participate.
