Wellbeing at Work Week 2025: Championing Mental Health Across the Profession

We are delighted to announce the launch of our very first Wellbeing at Work Week, taking place from 6th – 10th October 2025. This new initiative is dedicated to raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing across the property industry, bringing colleagues together to learn, share, and take action.

The week will feature a mix of interactive webinars, TED-style talks, and practical resources designed to provide supportive and educational experiences for conveyancers, property professionals, and business leaders. With mental health and wellbeing increasingly at the forefront of our profession, we want to ensure these conversations are heard loud and clear and that wellbeing is placed at the heart of the workplace.

Highlights of the week include:

  • Elizabeth Rimmer, CEO of LawCare, presenting the much-anticipated findings from the Life in the Law Survey (published 1 October 2025).

  • A fireside chat on men’s health, hosted by Henry Crosby of Martello, featuring powerful personal stories.

  • “The Truth About Menopause: Real Life, Real Feelings, Real Support” led by Nicola Green, a candid and insightful discussion on menopause and mental wellbeing.

Alongside these sessions, we will also release a post-event resource pack to help individuals and businesses put wellbeing strategies into practice, strengthen teams, and create workplaces where everyone feels supported.

Why This Matters

As our Co-Chair Jess Smith says:

“Wellbeing is not just a personal responsibility, it is something we must prioritise together as an industry to have real impact and change for us all. We have all seen the alarming stats that are affecting the number of talented conveyancers in recent years and experienced firsthand the challenges faced every day on the coalface. Our team is passionate about engaging discussions, sharing real stories, and providing practical solutions so that we can create a profession where mental health is valued at every level.”

Ongoing Commitment

As part of our wider work, we continue to promote the Mental Health Champion Course, created specifically for the conveyancing profession. This equips professionals with the skills to spot signs of poor mental health, start meaningful conversations, and direct colleagues to the right support – helping us build stigma-free workplaces where wellbeing can thrive.

We are also welcoming new Charity Partners who share our mission of improving lives across the property industry. By partnering with us, you can support wellbeing initiatives, define and promote best practice, and contribute to fundraising for charitable causes, including our Charity Grant Scheme which provides up to £1,000 for nominated charities within the sector.
