The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) was established in February 1988 to act as the professional body to represent the interests of Licensed Conveyancers in England and Wales.
The SLC focusses on the needs of all property lawyers, but its members in particular. We welcome all property lawyers into membership including Licensed Conveyancers, Probate Practitioners, Solicitors & Legal Executives.
The SLC aims to be as inclusive as possible, not only for the benefit of the profession and all lawyers who are part of the conveyancing process, but also for the benefit of the general public.
The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) is incredibly proud to continue being a supporter of the Conveyancing Foundation. Conveyancing continues to be a high stress area of law, and we welcome and support all initiatives that will help support and boost industry wellbeing. The charities commitment to supporting wellbeing in the profession aligns with the SLC’s aims to protect our profession and make conveyancing a more desirable area of law to work within.
