Mindstep: Mindstep supported by Lloyds Bank

Thank you to the Mindstep Foundation for sharing the following article:

Over the past 6 months, a team of volunteers in Consumer Servicing at Lloyds Bank have worked in their spare time to help support the Mindstep Foundation with progressing a number of our goals.

In July 2022, we had the privilege of meeting with the volunteer team as they presented their incredible work which will help us to move forward as a charity and further our suicide prevention work.

Georgia Davies, co-founder of the Mindstep Foundation said:

“It has been a fantastic experience to work with the volunteers at Lloyds Banking Group. From day one, the team had such a good understanding of our charity values and what we are trying to achieve. From thereon in they have worked tirelessly to support us with various goals. We are so grateful to have benefitted from the expertise and brainpower of this amazing team and are excited to take this forward.”

Hollie Poyner from the Consumer Servicing team at Lloyds Bank said:

“It has been a privilege and an honour for our team to support a small charity with such a huge but inspiring mission. Our incredible team of volunteers have dedicated their time, energy, and knowledge to support the Mindstep Foundation through skills-based volunteering. We are truly grateful for such a rewarding experience and for the opportunity to be able to work with the Mindstep Foundation to support such a valuable cause and look forward to working together again in the future.”

A huge thank you to Hollie Poyner for making this possible and to Kate James and Sam Clark for their support, and of course, to the team of volunteers for all their efforts.
