Property Conveyancing Consultancy announces partnership with the Conveyancing Foundation to Help Raise Thousands for Deserving Charities

Property Conveyancing Consultancy has become the latest Partner to officially back the Conveyancing Foundation, a zero-profit registered charity whose purpose is to enhance the lives of those in the conveyancing industry and to support charity fundraising initiatives in the conveyancing, legal and property industries.

The Foundation has raised nearly £1 million for charity since its launch in 2010, which has helped to support deserving causes and charities of all sizes, including Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, the Wallich (homelessness charity in South Wales), Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice and Many Tears Animal Rescue, to name just a few.

As official partners of the Foundation, Property Conveyancing Consultancy will support the aims of the Foundation, including backing and promoting its work with initiatives such as ‘Be Kind We Care’ (BKWC) best practice campaign to encourage kindness among professionals and promote better mental health through the provision of practical resources.

Property Conveyancing Consultancy will also become a partner of the Foundation’s new Charity Grant Scheme, which was launched at the beginning of 2023, where individuals and businesses in the sectors can apply for charity funding to supplement a worthy initiative they are supporting.

Priscilla Sinder from Property Conveyancing Consultancy said they were delighted to officially partner with the Conveyancing Foundation, applauding its innovative work.

She said: “We chose to support the Foundation as their values align with the Property Conveyancing Consultancy team. We are committed to supporting charity fundraising and proudly support the Foundation in their mission to enhance the lives of those in the property industry and to support charity fundraising initiatives.”

The new Conveyancing Foundation Charity Grant scheme will award up to £2000 to individuals from within the property industry who are fundraising for charity.

Conveyancing Foundation Surveys

The Conveyancing Foundation plans for this year include research into wellbeing and best practice through two major industry wide surveys, followed by round-the-table expert webinars to dissect the survey findings and to develop blueprints for what constitutes industry best practice.

The Foundation’s Wellbeing at Work Survey in March 2023 was answered by over 500 recipients, with over 80% being practising Conveyancers.  The survey asked 26 questions on mental health, the causes of stress and the support mechanisms available within legal practices.  The survey also focussed on the importance of work and industry relationships and what could be done to enhance our working environments.

Chairman of the Conveyancing Foundation, Lloyd Davies, will be a Keynote speaker at the Bold Legal Group conference on the 21st June in London where the survey results will be revealed for the first time and the proposals for improvements to improve staff wellbeing and retention will be discussed.

Conveyancing Foundation Chairman Lloyd Davies commented: “We have been working hard on ways to develop and grow the Foundation into a body which represents, supports and champions key issues within the industry. Our endeavour is to enhance the lives of those in the property industry and to promote and assist with charity fundraising to help those that need our support.

“We believe the best way of doing this is to work with likeminded experts and key stakeholders from within the industry. We are pleased to welcome companies such as Property Conveyancing Consultancy as Foundation Partners to support us in our work. Together we can continue to make a difference within our industry.”
