Conveyancing Foundation Celebrates Landmark Year of Charity, Wellbeing and Industry Collaboration
The Conveyancing Foundation is celebrating another successful year of charitable fundraising, wellbeing advocacy and industry collaboration, as highlighted in its latest Trustee Report. Having facilitated more than £1.4 million in fundraising since its inception, the Foundation continues to unite the property sector in supporting important causes, championing wellbeing and creating a positive impact in the property profession.
Charity Partnerships Deliver Outstanding Results
The Foundation was proud to serve as the official charity partner for two major industry events. At the British Conveyancing Awards in March, held at Manchester Cathedral, attendees raised more than £2,000 in support of the Foundation’s charitable initiatives.
This was followed by The Conveyancing Awards in May, where a further £1,900 was raised for The Mindstep Foundation. The Conveyancing Foundation extends its thanks to the organisers, sponsors and attendees whose generosity continues to support charitable causes across the property industry.
Supporting Fundraisers Through Charity Grants
The Foundation’s Charity Grant Scheme has continued to grow, supporting individuals undertaking fundraising challenges for causes close to their hearts.
Among the year’s standout achievements was the pilgrimage challenge completed by Conveyancing Foundation Patron and Founder Lloyd Davies and eight friends, Bart Roberts, Richard McClennan, Pete Woolley, Clive Frances, Jonathan Henry, Gabbi Hilu, Mike, and James Smith, who successfully completed their pilgrimage challenge from Monmouth to Canterbury raising over £50,000 for Mindstep Foundation. Sam Hawking also completed his Arctic Challenge, generating over £14,000 for Kids Cancer Charity.
The Foundation additionally congratulates grant recipients Kwok Lee and Michael Tobin, who completed marathon challenges in support of The Samaritans and The Miscarriage Association, raising both funds and awareness for these important charities.
National Conveyancing Month Reaches New Heights
National Conveyancing Month 2026 saw more than 300 firms participate throughout March. Through seminars, TED talks and collaborative events, the initiative brought together property professionals to inform, educate and inspire those involved in the home-moving process.
Looking Ahead
As the Foundation looks ahead to the remainder of 2026 and beyond, its focus remains firmly on supporting charitable fundraising, promoting workplace wellbeing and bringing the property industry together through meaningful collaboration, October will see the return of Wellbeing at Work Month, empowering our industry to talk openly about mental health and take practical steps to support each other. You can look forward to insightful seminars and TED Talks from industry professionals such as “Work Life Balance – what does it mean in our world?”
October will also be the launch of our Workplace Excellence Survey; this survey aims to define best practice for business leaders in how they can provide a supportive and engaging workplace for their staff and how we can improve mental health and wellbeing across the profession.
Thank you
The Trustees would like to thank all Foundation Partners, volunteers, ambassadors, supporters and fundraising champions. Together, we can continue to enhance the lives of those working within the property industry and create lasting positive impact for the communities and causes we support.
