Women in Residential Property | Ella's

Ella’s, a London Based Charity Organisation, has been awarded a grant of £2000 through the Conveyancing Foundation’s Charity Grant Scheme.

The commendation came as a result of the nomination by Women In Residential Property, a Professional Advisors Network membership group for women working throughout the residential property industry, and regularly holds fundraising events to support the charity.

The Conveyancing Foundation is a zero-profit registered charity whose purpose is to enhance the lives of those in the conveyancing industry and to support charity fundraising initiatives in the property industry. The Foundation’s innovative Charity Grant Scheme was created to provide individuals in the property industry with an opportunity to secure grant funding of up to £2,000 for their chosen charitable endeavours.

The Foundation has raised almost £1 million for charity since its launch in 2010, which has helped to support deserving causes and charities of all sizes, including Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice and Many Tears Animal Rescue, to name just a few.

Emma Vigus from Women in Residential Property, who nominated Ella’s for the grant, was delighted to receive the news from the Conveyancing Foundation, commending its innovative scheme for setting high standards of charitable work across the property industry.

Emma said: “We have supported Ella’s since 2018 and have raised over £4000 for the charity so far. They provide vital life-saving support to women who have survived trafficking and modern slavery.  We support them because no woman should have her freedom taken away from her.  They are a small charity operating with very limited resources so every penny we raise for them genuinely makes a difference.

To raise money for Ella’s, we are running an afternoon film event, we have exclusive use of the luxurious Soho House Cinema for the entire afternoon to enjoy a private screening of Erin Brockovich, with the catering provided by Haliberry, which is run by one of the survivors that the charity Ella’s supports.

We are so grateful to the Conveyancing Foundation for their donation, this money will go a long way in helping women across the world.”

Conveyancing Foundation Chairman Lloyd Davies commented, “We are delighted to support Women in Residential Property with a Conveyancing Foundation Grant. Their dedication in raising funds for Ella’s over the past three years is nothing short of extraordinary.”
