Charity Lotto Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

Introduction

  • The Conveyancing Foundation Monthly Charity Lotto is organised and promoted by the Conveyancing Foundation and their Charity Lotto Member Firms to raise thousands of pounds every year for charitable causes.

Eligibility

  • The Charity Lotto is open to all individuals aged 16 or over.
  • Employees of the Conveyancing Foundation or anyone directly involved in the administration of the Lotto are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

  • Participants can enter the Charity Lotto by making a £10 donation through their Charity Lotto Member Firm directly or via the Charity Lotto Members’s donation page on the Conveyancing Foundation website.
  • Each ticket purchased constitutes one entry into the monthly draw.
  • There is no limit on the number of tickets an individual can purchase per draw.
  • Entries must be received within the first 14 days of the following month. Entries received after this time will be entered into the next available draw.

Entry & Donation

  • Each entry to the Charity Lotto ticket costs £10.00 (£1.00 to the Prize Pot and £9.00 as a charity donation).
  • Each entrant will be asked to confirm if they are eligible for Gift Aid to be claimed on their donation to increase their charity donation from £9.00 per entry to £11.25 per entry.
  • All charity donations will be donated to charitable causes chosen by the Charity Lotto Member firm and supported by the Conveyancing Foundation.

Prize

  • A monthly prize of £500.00 will be awarded to one winner each month.
  • In the event that the number of monthly entrants allows for two or more £500.00 winners, additional prizes will be drawn and awarded.
  • The prize is non-transferable.

Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for the relevant month.
  • The draw will take place during the third week of each month for the proceeding month.
  • Winners will be notified via the contact details provided within 24 hours of the draw.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, the Conveyancing Foundation reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Data Protection

  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Conveyancing Foundation’s Privacy Policy, available on the Foundation’s website.
  • By entering the Charity Lotto, participants consent to their name and quote being published if they win, for marketing purposes.
  • Data collected will only be used for the administration of the Charity Lotto and for marketing purposes where consent has been given.

General

  • The Conveyancing Foundation reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Charity Lotto at any time without notice.
  • By entering the Charity Lotto, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • The Charity Lotto is operated in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and The Conveyancing Foundation holds a valid ‘Small Society Lottery License’ which is issued by Newport City Council.
