Mindstep: Running, Riding and Swimming for Mindstep
Thank you to the Mindstep Foundation for sharing the following article:
Thank you to our incredible fundraisers who go above and beyond to raise money for Mindstep.
In September, Iwan Mullin took on the Welsh Ironman in Pembrokeshire (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, followed by a marathon!). Not only did Iwan absolutely smash this huge challenge, he also raised over £3,000 for suicide prevention, a cause very close to him and his family. Thank you so much Iwan and congratulations on an amazing achievement.
Huge congratulations to Alex Coleman who ran Dorney Marathon in memory of his role model and friend Joe Peake. Joe’s family have already done an incredible amount of fundraising for our charity and Alex also fundraised over £3,600 towards our suicide prevention research. Thank you so much for your support.
In October, Sarah Plummer took on the Chicago Marathon, completing it in just 3h51m! Luckily, it was a lovely sunny day and Sarah even spotted her husband three times around the course. Thank you for running for Mindstep and raising over £1,000!
Ed Ellson, a close friend of Max’s, and his brother Seb, also completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London. We are already delighted to be the charity partner of Ed’s gym, Fit Club Amersham, and are very proud of the Ellson’s for smashing the challenge and raising over £1,000!
If you fancy taking on a challenge for Mindstep, we have spaces at most events in the UK and abroad. Just visit our website or get in touch.
