The Conveyancing Foundation Celebrates Its Role Models For International Men’s Day

With International Men’s Day on November 19th, the Conveyancing Foundation would like to recognise the men among their Ambassadors and Trustees who are driving positive change through their commitment to charity, mental health, and community support. This year’s theme, ‘Positive Male Role Models,’ highlights individuals who lead by example to promote positive change and a more compassionate industry.

Through initiatives like the Likey 6633 Ultra—a 353-mile Arctic race raising £15,000 for Wales Air Ambulance—Sam Hawking, Trustee of the Foundation and Founder of Sam Hawking Property Lawyers, demonstrates resilience and commitment. His ongoing efforts support vital causes and reflect the Foundation’s core charitable values.

In the area of mental health advocacy, David Opie, Managing Director of Today’s Media and Foundation Ambassador, has championed programs like ‘Be Kind, We Care.’ His focus on fostering supportive and inclusive workplaces continues to shape the way the conveyancing industry prioritises well-being.

Rob Hailstone, Founder of the Bold Legal Group and Foundation Ambassador, has brought together over 650 law firms into a collaborative network. His work promotes shared ideas and mutual support, creating a more connected and productive community for all in the conveyancing sector.

As Director of the ESTAS and a Foundation Ambassador, Simon Brown leads efforts to recognise service excellence across the property industry. His work extends beyond awards to promote collaboration and improved well-being, contributing to a more effective and people-focused industry.

Through ambitious fundraising efforts for organisations such as Mindstep Foundation,  and Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice, Lloyd Davies, Chairman and Trustee of the Conveyancing Foundation, highlights the importance of giving back. His leadership in charity initiatives and mental health awareness continues to inspire others to engage in meaningful support for the communities they serve.

This International Men’s Day, the Conveyancing Foundation not only celebrates the achievements of these role models but also calls on the wider property industry to join their mission of fostering compassion, collaboration, and support.
