Conveyancing Foundation Welcomes Three New Ambassadors Following National Conveyancing Week Success

The Conveyancing Foundation is delighted to introduce Natalie Moore from Aconveyancing and ESTAS founders Simon and Sarah Brown to its Ambassadorial team to help in its mission to “enhance the lives of those in the property industry”. The three new ambassadors will join existing Ambassadors Rob and Lynne Hailstone of the Bold Legal Group, Elizabeth Rimmer of LawCare, and David Opie of Todays Conveyancer in furthering the Foundation’s objectives.

Natalie Moore, the visionary founder of Aconveyancing, a prominent residential conveyancing firm based in the Midlands, has pioneered with her wellbeing, mental health and philanthropic work.  Her ‘It’s a Knockout’ charity fundraising event in 2023 was a huge success, bringing the conveyancing community together and raising thousands of pounds for the Samuel’s Promise charity, with the assistance of Conveyancing Foundation Charity Grant.

This year, the Conveyancing Foundation is looking forward to supporting Natalie and her team in their  upcoming ‘Crystal Maze’ fundraising event in June, benefiting Forward Trust, offering support to those affected by drug or alcohol issues, past offending, homelessness or unemployment.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Natalie commented, “I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked to join the Conveyancing Foundation as an Ambassadress.  We have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those in need and in our conveyancing community. I look forward to leveraging my passion for philanthropy to support the Foundation’s impactful initiatives.”

Dynamic husband-and-wife duo and founders of the esteemed ESTAS brand, Simon and Sarah Brown, bring their wealth of experience in the property industry to the Foundation. As leading figures in the property industry, the Browns’ partnership with the Foundation promises to extend its outreach, particularly in working with Estate Agents and industry suppliers.

Simon Brown said: “It’s an honour to be appointed as an Ambassador for the Conveyancing Foundation. Sarah and I are committed to using our ESTAS platform to drive positive change within the property and conveyancing industry. Together, we can create lasting impact.” Sarah added: “We are excited to partner with the Conveyancing Foundation and contribute to their vital work. By working together, we can amplify our efforts to support charitable causes and make a meaningful difference in the property community.”

This announcement follows a momentous week for the Foundation, culminating in the resounding success of the Second National Conveyancing Week, held from 11th to 15th March. Lead by Todays Conveyancer and Bold Legal Group, the week featured a series of impactful initiatives, including an insightful Foundation webinar to define “working environment best practice” with the three shortlisted legal practices for the “Best Place to Work Award’ at the British Conveyancing AwardsSimply Conveyancing, Oliver & Co Solicitors and Ison Harrison Solicitors – interviewed on what makes their working environments so very special.

The Foundation Wellbeing at Work Survey 2024 closes on the 31st March.  Please take five minutes and encourage those that you work with to undertake the survey, this will help the Foundation to define industry best practice – you could also win some wonderful prizes!

The Foundation pledged to match fundraising efforts during the National Conveyancing Week Coffee Morning initiative, with over 15 firms and branches participating.  A key Conveyancing Foundation objective is to assist those in the property industry to raise funds for their chosen charities and this collective effort raised substantial funds for various charities, which will be doubled thanks to the generous support of our Conveyancing Foundation Partners.

Foundation Ambassador David Opie and his team at Todays Conveyancer and the British Conveyancing Awards raised over £2400 for charity from BCA ticket sales, with funds generously donated equally between LawCare and the Mindstep Foundation, two pivotal mental health charities serving the property industry and beyond.

Foundation Chairman, Lloyd Davies commented: “I am delighted to welcome Natalie Moore, Simon and Sarah Brown to the Ambassadorial team. Their passion for philanthropy and dedication to improving the conveyancing and property industry align perfectly with our mission and objectives.

“The success of National Conveyancing Week reflects the incredible spirit of collaboration within our community. My heartfelt thanks to David Opie and his team at Todays Conveyancer and the individuals who made donations at the British Conveyancing Awards for their wonderful generosity once again this year.  Together we can make a difference and support those that need our help such as these wonderful charities.  Thank you all.

“The prestigious British Conveyancing Awards were a fantastic success once again this year and we are so grateful to have been nominated as the supporting charity again this year.  I was delighted for Foundation Ambassador, Rob Hailstone, in winning the coveted ‘Industry Champion’ Award and for new Ambassadress Natalie Moore receiving the Highly Commended accolade. Both Rob and Natalie epitomise conveyancing professionalism and a commitment to our community and are shining examples of dedication and excellence in our industry.  Well done all on a fantastic week for the conveyancing industry!”
